Tinkergarten provides high-quality early childhood learning in the healthiest classroom of all—the outdoors. Families connect with trained leaders in their local community for play-based kids classes that help develop core life skills, all while having fun!
As far as I can remember, children have always been the center of my life. After completing my double bachelors in Psychology and Child development, I worked as a preschool teacher for over 8 years. I believe that play and child initiated experiences are vital building blocks for every child’s physical, cognitive, social, and psychological development. The best way to foster healthy growth in children is to provide them with an environment that promotes creativity and encourages free discovery. Now that I am a mom, I have an even better appreciation of children’s need to discover and learn through play. So it was no surprise that when I found Tinkergarten, I was thrilled because it encompasses everything that I believe is important for a child’s healthy development. Tinkergarten allows children the opportunity to engage in raw, child initiated play leaving their lives filled with wonder, discovery and adventure. Not only that, as children experiment, take risks, question, and explore they gain a sense of achievement and confidence. I am so excited to be part of the Tinkergarten family and to bring this valuable program to my area.
