Tinkergarten provides high-quality early childhood learning in the healthiest classroom of all—the outdoors. Families connect with trained leaders in their local community for play-based kids classes that help develop core life skills, all while having fun!
I've been a Tinkergarten Leader in the Bay Area since Fall 2015. I have two daughters, and being a mom is my childhood dream come true! I grew up in Mountain View, and I'm so happy to be raising my kids here where there is so much to explore outside our front door! I've worked with kids since I was old enough to babysit, from summer camp leader and nanny, to kindergarten classroom aide in the Los Altos School District. I also used to work for Big Brothers Big Sisters in East Palo Alto as the site coordinator for their after-school program. Being a mom is my favorite role ever. I love practicing attached, peaceful, respectful parenting, (and I love that the key word there is practice!) and truly believe that kids are deserving of our trust. When not leading classes, I'll be busy homeschooling my kids who are in 3rd grade and pre-k. I decided not to enroll my younger one in preschool because she's gained so much from attending Tinkergarten with me. I love the community aspect of these wildly fun engaging classes. We wish every day was a Tinkergarten day!
