Tinkergarten provides high-quality early childhood learning in the healthiest classroom of all—the outdoors. Families connect with trained leaders in their local community for play-based kids classes that help develop core life skills, all while having fun!
My experiences outdoors as a child made me who I am today, and I want to give other kids the chance to create memories of exploration I now look back on so fondly. I grew up at the entrance to one of the Commonwealth's fabulous state parks, and have a special bond with the spaces and places of Southeastern Massachusetts. I knew as a teenager that I wanted a career helping to steward our environment, both locally and globally. After studying human ecology and environmental geography, and a consulting career at a regional conservation nonprofit, I have returned to my SE MA roots with hopes of connecting kids to a world of wonder and our region's special natural spaces. I'm very excited to bring Tinkergarten to a new generation of young explorers. These days I also run a solo environmental consulting practice and serve on the Open Space Committee in my hometown of Stoughton, where my husband and I co-manage our little homestead and raise two sons. I'm so excited to share in adventures of discovery with your family through Tinkergarten!
