Exciting Things to Come, Including In-Person Instruction!

by Meghan Fitzgerald

A week ago yesterday, we celebrated the Worm Moon—it’s full light signifying hope and new beginnings. We figure there is no better time than days to follow for us to share news of exciting things to come at Tinkergarten.

We here at Tinkergarten are over our own moon about the future as we take the best of what we have developed in the past year and combine it with all that we have learned from delivering programming to hundreds of thousands of families nationwide for nearly a decade. Now, we’re poised to share this comprehensive program with many more families, everywhere, allowing our community to learn in the spaces, formats and frequencies that work best for them.

What to expect from us in the coming months:

  • Over the past year, we’ve been able to reach many more families in places we’ve never been via our at-home curriculum and live virtual instruction. And it’s been amazing to hear how transformative Tinkergarten has been for so many families, as the program has become a core part of their child’s daily learning regimen.
  • We’re hard at work on expanding the curriculum and improving the tools for families to go deeper and more easily make Tinkergarten part of their weekly routine. Look for further improvements to the program, parent experience as we continue to expand the range of ways to experience Tinkergarten in the coming months.
  • We also know how special meeting in person is to many families and communities. In-person instruction will make a return to Tinkergarten, providing a powerful way to enjoy learning through outdoor play with others in your local community. This summer, we’ll introduce in-person instruction in select locations, with more to come in the fall. Interested in in-person instruction? Let us know!
  • We will continue to follow our year-round curricular calendar, focusing on one of our 8 core skills each season of the year, keeping your kids learning and growing outside season after season. Jump in any day of the year to ensure Tinkergarten is part of your family’s life and learning. Check out our 2021 calendar of upcoming series:

Interested in in-person instruction when it’s available?

Let us know, and we’ll keep you informed! We've put together a quick form families can use to let us know where they would like to see in-person instruction return. If you complete the form, we'll keep you posted as our work progresses.

Thank you!

This last year has taught us how much this movement means to so many people…and how much this work means to us. To everyone who has shared your support during this deeply challenging time, you have added fuel to our rockets, and we deeply appreciate you.

We’ll continue to update our community as our plans develop. We’re more fired up than ever to get families everywhere learning outdoors, and we can't wait to see where we are by the next Worm Moon.
