Tinkergarten provides high-quality early childhood learning in the healthiest classroom of all—the outdoors. Families connect with trained leaders in their local community for play-based kids classes that help develop core life skills, all while having fun!
I am a mom of a 3 year old boy and a baby girl, and am an elementary school teacher. I truly believe that children learn best through play. When kids can be creative, inventive thinkers, they become the problem solvers of our future. Some of my favorite memories from growing up are of playing outside with friends: all kinds of tag, riding bikes, camping, catching lightning bugs... Now, as a teacher, I find that many kids don't even know how to "play" because they aren't given the time for it. When I became a mom, this was an even bigger concern for me. I want to make sure that this generation of children gets to experience and love playing outside just like we did as kids. That's why each season I am so thrilled to bring Tinkergarten to Central NJ, where I grew up, and keep that love of creative outdoor play alive!
