Tinkergarten provides high-quality early childhood learning in the healthiest classroom of all—the outdoors. Families connect with trained leaders in their local community for play-based kids classes that help develop core life skills, all while having fun!
I grew up exploring the forests and pastures around my rural Florida town. My friends and I built towns in the dirt and made potions from leaves and sticks. I believe wholeheartedly in the importance of this kind of imaginative, nature-based play. I have worked with children of all ages and I enjoy them all! I spent ten years as a science teacher in grades 3-12, and I am passionate about helping kids learn. I enjoy being silly with kids, planning activities and learning opportunities for them, and encouraging exploration and creativity! I am excited to bring Tinkergarten to children in Ann Arbor and delight in this opportunity to help all of us get messy playing with our kids.
