Tinkergarten provides high-quality early childhood learning in the healthiest classroom of all—the outdoors. Families connect with trained leaders in their local community for play-based kids classes that help develop core life skills, all while having fun!
Step 1...show up! Step 2: Smile! Step 3: Have fun. Step 4: Learn by getting dirty. Of these steps, I prefer the last and attempt to model that daily. By trade I am a soil scientist, hence step 4 being important. I am currently in perpetual training to be an awesome mother. A few short months ago my husband and I had a wonderful little girl! I am a Wyoming native, who loves the outdoors and leanring. Luckily motherhood is a lifelong path to learning; sometimes through trial and error, sometimes luck but more often than not patience! My husband and I own and operate a local greenhouse in the North Platte Valley that provides locally grown produce to consumers. We spend our free time traipsing around the Snowy Range and Sierra Madre Mountains with our three dogs. I love to crochet, cook, paint, read and spend time with family and friends. After obtaining a degree in agronomy, I became a soil scientist and specialize in soil microbiology. However, I have always had a passion for education. Until my husband and I had our daughter, I had not spent a lot of time reflecting on the needs of children's education. When I did, I was fortunate enough to find Tinkergarten and fell in love! I love being able to be outside, excite kids about nature and help to form pillars of education that will stay with them forever! Join me; together we will learn about all the North Platte Vally has to offer, through hands-on learning in nature!
