Welcome! I'm excited to get to know you and your family over the next 8 weeks while exploring and learning together! I am currently a stay at home mommy to my almost 2 year old son (December) and also get to care for a few other kiddos during the week at my in home childcare. I am married and we live in my childhood home in Urbandale. In addition to our son, Marc, we have 1 not so little puppy Malik, and 2 cats, Emma and Shyla. I have my teaching license and a BS and Masters degree in Early childhood education and human development from ISU. Before being able to stay home with my son, I was a early childhood preschool teacher for 7 years. I taught mixed age groups of children from 3 to 5 years old and with a range of abilities. I loved teaching and miss working with my preschoolers and families so I decided to take my passion of teaching to the outdoors with Tinkergarten! I am excited to share in your child's learning while they explore the outdoors with you! Please let me know if you have any questions!
