Tinkergarten provides high-quality early childhood learning in the healthiest classroom of all—the outdoors. Families connect with trained leaders in their local community for play-based kids classes that help develop core life skills, all while having fun!
I have been in the public education circuit for twenty-three years, starting as a K-5 paraprofessional, and successfully teaching in middle school 6-8 grades. After teaching and realizing I wanted to make an impact on the school as a whole, I entered building principalship in the West St. Francois County R-IV School District in Leadwood, Missouri. I served three years as building principal of 260+ students, grades 6-8, and 25 staff. My goal became making an impact in a large elementary building with early childhood grades to sixth grade. Going to Vineland Elementary as building principal of 850+ students, grades Kindergarten through sixth grades (93 staff members). I led the building fourteen years and love my community. As I look forward, with our three-year old, and four other children, ages 11-15, I want to continue to work with public education structures, yet with play and the tremendous level of learning that comes with it.
