One thing we know for sure is that play outside this winter, no matter the climate where you live, will be essential to kids' health and wellness.
The outdoors are the safest place for kids to socialize and play, and we know that nature offers the richest learning environment around.
But how do we get—and keep—kids outside when it's cold? The truth is, play is perfectly safe in most cold weather. The trick for keeping kids outside for long stretches when it's chilly and wet is making sure they (and you) are bundled in the right winter gear.
Here's how Tinkergarten kids and their Tinkergarten Leader parents from climates across the country gear up for lots of wonderful outdoor play.
